Abstract book for the 1st symposium
The first symposium (for the 12th ISBE, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA · August 9-15, 2008) centered around four major issues: 1) Information theoretic approaches, 2) Bayesian approaches, 3) Effect sizes and confidence intervals, and 4) data quality. 12 speakers presented talks on these topics.
